The Downfall Of Christianity In America

Christianity is on the decline in our nation and has been for decades. The sad truth is, people are more interested in the cares of this world than laying up treasures in the next. To address this problem, most churches turned to marketing gurus instead of the word of God for guidance. Many churches now look more like entertainment and recreational organizations than the New Testament church of Christ (Matt. 16:18).

Do you see a problem in churches across the land? Does it seem there is more emphasis on matters of this world than on heaven and righteousness and purity of the soul? Do you crave more Bible study and a better understand of God’s word?

There is hope. The word of God is still true and there remain people who want to follow it. Are you one of those people? The first thing we must do is deny ourselves (Lk. 9:23).
